HAFELE KNX TRAINING CENTRE 66 NEEDO R line electric radiators
Rugby – Centrally based in England, Hafele Home of Technologies fully certified training center offers KNX training to anyone interested in home automation & Electric Heating.
Needo Electric Heating The control of the device is by the open standard Zigbee pro used in home automation. Giving the user control and multi room programming, allowing feedback on energy consumption. Using an open standard allows for future integration to other devices. Taking full control of when the unit is on is a crucial part of controlling energy usage for smart energy supply.
The unit is supplied as standard with Zigbee wireless communication, but is also the only electric heater certified with KNX, something we need to promote to this specialist market place. NF performance standards will reduce the average CA Coefficient to Aptitude to 0.6
Needo is already at performing at .18 average. This demonstrated how efficient the unit is, the more efficient the more energy is turned into usable electric heat, so the lower the running cost.
KNX – the Worldwide STANDARD for Home and Building Control
In order to transfer control data to all building management components, a system is required that does away with the problems of isolated devices by ensuring that all components communicate via one common language: in short, a system such as the manufacturer and application domains independent KNX Bus. This standard is based upon more than 24 years of experience in the market, amongst others with predecessor systems to KNX: EIB, EHS and BatiBUS. Via the KNX medium to which all bus devices are connected (twisted pair, radio frequency, power line or IP/Ethernet), they are able to exchange information. Bus devices can either be sensors or actuators needed for the control of building management equipment such as: lighting, blinds / shutters, security systems, energy management, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, signalling and monitoring systems, interfaces to service and building control systems, remote control, metering, audio / video control, white goods, etc. All these functions can be controlled, monitored and signalled via a uniform system without the need for extra control center.
