Q. After resetting the powerbox, the radiator doesn’t find the network automatically
A. Powerbox having SW starting from release 3.0 in advance need to be cut off after a reset.
Q. I had a problem creating the name of a radiator
A. After choosing “install rad” on MyNeedo and having pressed the button on the powerbox, you have the possibility to choose a pre-defined name on the Graphic User Interface. It is a faster and easier way: select them with the wheel and confirm with OK button.
Otherwise, you can create your own name, but be careful: do not exit from this menu before having selected and saved the name (do not press “home” or “menu” but only OK). If, for any reason, you exit from this menu you have a radiator not visible in the home page: please cancel the other and repeat the procedure from the beginning (remember that any time you restart from the beginning the radiators must be reset one by one and blinking red/green, as it is explained in the user manual)
Q. The led of the powerbox is blinking slow green
A. If you have reset the radiator (sw version earlier than 3.0) it has rejoined the network but it is not bounded: please repeat another binding session in a proper way.
Otherwise, if for any reason you find a powerbox blinking slow-green (i.e.: after a cut-off) but the binding procedure was ok, it is enough to press long the button of the powerbox to force the software into the normal operating mode (it will continue to work normally)
(be careful: never reset the radiator before deleting it from pod)
Q. It seems that I am not able to install the network properly
A. Before starting the installation procedure, switch on MyNeedo before switching on the radiators
Q. In the graphic user interface there is a command “factory reset” in the section “maintenance”, not described in the manual
A. Congratulations! You have bought a new version of MyNeedo with improved features (it has SW release starting from 3.0).
“factory reset” is a command that erase all the network information, setting the device back to original configuration. We recommend you use this command only in case of emergency, because once executed it forces to reset and re-install all the heating elements
Q. If the powerbox is in stand-by mode it is not possible to activate the boost command from MyNeedo
A. It is always possible, however, to activate the boost function pressing shortly the button on the radiator to move in the state in which the LED is flashing slow-red
Q. I have to delete a radiator because I want to move in another room
A. If you have to delete a radiator, it is recommended to do it when the powerbox is supplied (in this way the leave command from the network is well received). Obviously if you have to delete because the powerbox is no more working or not responding, the deletion will be forced by MyNeedo
